Baby Cashmere
Deep Fig
£750
Deep Fig
True to size. If between sizes, size up for a softer hold.
First-combing baby cashmere from Mongolian highland goats. Finer than standard cashmere. Softer than anything in your wardrobe. The polo collar frames the face. The self-tie adjusts the fit. The hidden snap holds everything in place. Worn closed as a top or open as a layer, this is the piece that lives between categories: knitwear, outerwear, comfort, composure. 200 pieces in two colourways.
100% Baby Cashmere.
Baby cashmere comes from the first combing of young goats under twelve months old. The fibre is 14 to 14.5 microns in diameter, finer than standard cashmere, which sits at 15.5 to 19 microns. It is softer, rarer, and represents less than 10% of global cashmere production.
This is not a material chosen for margin. It is a material chosen because it is the best.
Fully fashioned: every panel is shaped on the knitting machine, not cut from a flat sheet. Every seam is linked by hand, producing a flat, invisible join that you can feel on the interior but cannot see on the exterior.
The polo collar folds naturally by the weight of the cashmere alone, without pressing. The hidden snap on the interior holds the wrap in place before the self-tie is fastened, so it stays where you put it.
230 grams. Midweight. 16-gauge knit. Elongated ribbed cuffs that fold back or extend over the hands. Ribbed hem band for a defined silhouette.
Hand wash in cool water (maximum 20°C) with a cashmere-specific detergent, or dry clean with a specialist.
Lay flat to dry and reshape while damp. Do not hang. Do not tumble dry.
Some pilling is natural in the first few wears. Use a cashmere comb in one direction; pilling reduces after the first three to five wears.
Fold (never hang). Store with cedar or lavender. The full guide is in the Cashmere Library.
Relaxed, body-skimming. Hip length. The wrap is designed to follow the body without clinging, with enough ease to layer over the Column Shell or the founding set.
Sizes UK 6 through UK 16 (XS through XXL). We recommend your usual UK size. If you are between sizes, size up for a more generous drape, or stay true to size for a closer fit.
