── The Piece ──

A quarter-zip top in modal cotton, knitted in Italy, finished in London.

The collar is set high. The seams have been moved off the centre line so the body of the piece falls without interruption. The zip pull is a custom Auralia weight, embossed with the wave.

Made for the first hour of the day, the train, the long Sunday. It is what she puts on before she has decided what the day requires.

92% Modal · 8% Elastane.

Modal is a regenerated cellulose fibre derived from beech trees, knitted in Italy at a mill that has been working with Auralia since the first sample. The elastane is a bonded core yarn — it gives the piece its return without being felt against the skin.

The yarn is undyed at the spinning stage. Deep Blue Teal is achieved through a single saturation, which is why the colour reads as one continuous tone rather than as printed surface.

The collar is set high, finished with a tone-on-tone bind. The seams have been moved off the centre line. The zip pull is a custom solid-brass Auralia weight, embossed with the wave on the underside.

Tone-on-tone embroidery at the back neck. No exterior logo.

Cold wash, inside out, with similar colours.

Hang dry. The fibres recover their shape on a hanger; a tumble dryer shortens the life of the elastic core.

Iron only the waistband, on low heat, if needed.

The piece is made to be worn, washed, and worn again. The full guide is in the Cashmere Library.

True to size. The model is 5'9" / 175 cm, wearing size M.

Sizes XS through XL. Custom adjustments available — write to the atelier.

If between sizes, size up for a softer hold. If you want a closer fit, size down by one.
